Tend The Flame Poem Animation

David Hassler, Bob and Walt Wick Executive Director of the Wick Poetry Center, has asked VCD students to help design a typographic animation to showcase the Tend the Flame community poem. This poem draws from lines written by National Writing Project teachers. A group of students and I decided on the color palette and typeface to be used throughout the poem, but we were to animate our own style in the section we were assigned to. I was assigned to animate the poem's last section using Adobe After Effects and Procreate.
